Volunteer Activities/Community Involvement or Initiatives:

• Oktoberfest Co-chair: 2007 
• Worked on every Round Lake Park Village Festival since the festivals began.
• Donates to various programs and charities such as D.A.R.E, Shop With A Cop, and the Avon Food Pantry.
• Active member of St. Joseph Parish since 1991, and volunteers for and/or contributes to activities at the church and school on a regular basis.
• Voluntarily designed and developed St. Joseph Parish's Web site, which she continues to build and maintain.

Personal:  Candy and her husband Rich have three children (Andrew, Justin, and Christine). Candy loves to practice writing and has been published in literary magazines and is the recipient of both technical writing and creative writing awards.

Reasons to Serve as Trustee:  I have pride in my neighborhood and care about the future of our village, residents, and appearance. I appreciate the diversity that our community has to offer and which will benefit and unify our village as we strive to enhance our neighborhood. I feel I will contribute a positive, creative energy and an objective attitude to the village board as we move forward with the best interest of the people at heart.
